Casio Men's G-Shock Watch DW5600E-1V

Cost a bit more than the low level Casio watches but so worth the extra bucks. Casio watches last and the thing that always goes before the watches themselves are the wrist bands, the cheap rubber breaks. THIS ONE has heavy duty (thicker) rubber wrist bands with the fastener part being made of metal so that will never break either. It lights up so you can see the time in darkness and does all the other things (alarm, stop watch etc.) you expect from a Casio AND the watch is protected by the G-shock frame. A great watch.

This is third time I've purchased this model. This is the definitive GShock, absolute simplistic perfection. This has been updated a couple years ago and now features a purple LED backlight vs the EL backlight on previous editions. I did not receive the watch that is pictured, as thats the FIREFOX edition with the old backlight. Overall, couldn't be more pleased.

This classic and timeless watch is perfect for everyday wear. It has all the basic functions you need, like timekeeping, a calendar, a timer, a stopwatch, and an alarm. I have a lot of watches, including a Tag Heuer, a Victorinox, an Apple watch, and a bunch of G-Shocks, but I always go back to this one. It's simple and functional, and it looks great with my casual clothes.

Excellent build quality from Casio. Does exactly what it needs to. Display is highly visible under multiple viewing angles and conditions. LED backlight is also very good. Band and clasp are comfortable and adjustable. Function buttons are slightly recessed to prevent accidental adjustments.

my husband has 4 or 5 G Shocks but never a Square. I was happy to get him his first one. To match the “deal days” that we're going on in July - Casio's website and then Walmart had this watch for an unbeatable price of 35.80. Due to tariffs and such these models are going up to $100 retail, after being 70 previously. We got the last one available at the special price that was able to be shipped from walmart.com. Even then the stock seemed to run out but Walmart was great through the whole process and even though the delivery was delayed by three days they were able to find this model at a local store for me and deliver it to my door. Walmart always puts the customer first. Thank you.

I have not been without a Casio watch in 30 years and this is only my third one. They take a lot of abuse and just keep going, even lost one in a salt water filtration system once and retrieved it a month later still running. The one l have just bought was on sale for a great price, and since I am now 73, it will probably outlast me. The straps are the weak point, but even they last about 5 years. Great product.

If you're looking for a tough watch that is almost everything-proof, this definitely fits the bill. It's a great value, the backlight is good, and it's not complicated to use, and it keeps great time. The nostalgia factor alone should sell you on it!. If you're on the fence, take a shot!

I'll thought I had received the wrong model on my 1st visit and returned the watch that otherwise was in great condition, I then ordered a new one from the website, the one I received from the website had a bad lcd screen, and I also returned that one, I have since ordered another watch from the website and am awaiting to receive the order and will review the quality of the item.

This doesn't come in a G-shock branded tin, like if you were to buy it from other retailers. the watch is lightweight, and the LED light makes it easy to read in the dark. There's no doubt this watch could've lasted me 10 years, however I returned it due to buttons making a creaking sound when pressed, and how cluttered the crystal is. seeing "Shock resist, LED light", amongst other things on the crystal made the watch look extremely cheap, and "toy-ish" to me, and made the display itself seem tiny

Do not trust the photos on Walmart's website or app. I specifically ordered this watch from Walmart because it had different face details than any other website. Their photos showed the “Fox Fire” light branding, but the watch they sent was not Fox Fire. A complete waste of my time having to return it to the store because Walmart cannot quality check their website.
