I got it as a gift for my son because they do the half cow freezer combination for meat and they just got two puppies and now they will be grinding all the excess meat for their beautiful little babies. My son was very happy with it is heavy duty and it doesn't require electricity.

Works great making sausage,and really easy to do.

It all ok except one of the grinding blades was shattered rendered useless so I don't have one of the grinder cutting blades because it's busted in like 4-5 pieces.

Good heavy cast iron materials, easily assembled, does not require electrical input, good workout for the arms, it is not too difficult to disassemble %26 clean. That it does not include any means of securing it to a counter or other surface is not so good--I purchased 3 c-clamps %26 use them to hold it in place, it takes some learning regarding how fast to insert what is being ground %26 which size cutting disc to use for the grind or mince result. I would not recommend it to anyone unless they can come over %26 take mine for a test drive. Nonetheless, I plan to keep what I purchased as I won't use it frequently %26 it's not likely to wear out in my lifetime.

Replacing a 50 yr old model that looks surprisingly the same. Not for processing a whole beef, but a great tool for home cooks

Sturdy like its forebears, but having a screw on base rather than a clamp on base limits its usefulness and desirability.

Had a defective piece. Contacted sender to offer to receive replacement part rather than full exchange of heavy item but they asked for different things thru several different email exchanges. Ended up returning to store.

Came broken / shattered pieces cheap looks used

my grinder does not rotate, mine is defective
