This drawing set by Castle Arts is perfect for anyone who likes to draw or is learning to shade. It comes with 40 pieces, and includes 2 small tutorial booklets. The booklets are great in case there is a piece you are unsure of, or it gives guidance/general hints like how to hold your pencil during different techniques. I think my favorite piece in the set is the extender. The extender holds the pencils you have used and worn down. You no longer have to struggle holding them or throw them away. I absolutely love that and wish you could find these for every day practical purposes. All of the pieces are perfectly in place in a zip up case. Once the case is open, each side is Velcro down and can be popped up inside the zipper case. About 1/3 of the way down, behind the pencils, you can fold it back and rest it against the Velcro. This props the pencils up easier for you to see and use while drawing. It took me a minute to figure this out, so I included a picture for anyone having trouble. I also like how you can see and read all of the pencil grades while they are in the holder. There is also a wrist strap tucked inside the case for easier portability.

My daughter loves to sketch and draw and I've been looking for a complete Art supplies set that will be very helpful ti enhance her art skill and this Castle Art Set is exactly what I'm looking for. It has 40 pieces, the cones with everything you need from pencil, charcoal for shading down to eraser. I like the packaging, it's very neat and it has compartments that separates each items. It's compact and perfect for on the go so you can carry it everywhere you go!

This kit is chock full of everything to create very detailed drawings. Pencils, moldable eraser, shading tools . The instructions on how to use each piece included and also has prompts to more detailed videos. Excellent for beginners . The kit is easy to take on the go and zips securely so everything is contained.
