CASTLECREEK 8' Half Round Patio Umbrella Khaki

This umbrella is perfect for patios that don't have a lot of floor space. I purchased 2 - one fits against the house and the other against our privacy fence. Using the base that is specifically for the half umbrella saves even more floor space.

Worked perfect for my needs. I like the way it hugs the wall. I have been waiting for something like this and I am so happy I purchased it.

At first I couldn't fathom why anyone would want a half umbrella? Then it struck me that this was the solution to circumventing my town's not allowing any awning or canopy over one's driveway. Using adjustable 1/4" diameter threaded rods with turnbuckles and eye-bolts, the half umbrella serves as a removable wind proof awning atop my garage door shading the hood of my truck and my feral cat pals. It's a win all solution that also enhances my garage door rear truk mural. The addition of a four step seat and adjustable height table will complete the Tale-G8 demonstration fraud N.C.B.Y. Heel-icopter patrol.

By clamping an eye bolt (to hang from the roof peak) to the top of the shaft using two hose clamps and shortening the length of the bottom shaft so as to sit on my air conditioner, this half umbrella makes a perfect awning for my 2010 Aliner Ranger camper! Easy up, easy down. easy to fold if it gets too windy and easy to store. And very inexpensive compared to other awnings available for this type camper.

This umbrella exceeded my expectations! Looks like durable material, quality built. I didn't realize you could take the fabric off to replace it if you needed to, which is a nice bonus; although I didn't see a replacement fabric top as an option. We plan to spray it with the water repellant spray even though it says water resistant and UV resistant (we do live in FL, = sun and rain on a daily basis). Already have it up on our picnic table, the hunter green color is very rich, looks awesome! Hope it lasts a couple years.

I bought this to replace one that finally deteriorated in the tropical sun. It lasted for years. I expect this one will too, as nothing seems to have been changed. The half-circle works well for the deck of my pool. There isn't much space between the screen wall and the water. The whole assembly can be pushed back, leaving room to walk past.

I purchased 2 of the umbrellas to help shade my dogs and not let them get their leads tangled on the poles. 1 is set next to the kennel and can be rotated to follow the sun. the other is set so that if the dogs are out they can use it but if it's raining I can swing it over me and my grill.

GOT IT IN 5 DAYS, TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX, PUT IT TOGETHER IN ABOUT 5 MINUTES. PUT IT UP AND HAVE NOT TAKEN IT DOWN YET. Our patio is 10 ft long by 8 Ft. wide. It keeps the sun and the rain off of us so far, an it LOOKS great. We close it if it rains hard, we got a 15x15 CAST IRON CAST ( THINK YOU SHOULD ) base and it work great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Neighbors said it looks very nice.

The color description is way off or I was sent the incorrect item. It's listed as “khaki” but the umbrella is definitely brown. Doesn't even match my town home which is what I need.

The umbrella was much smaller than I had thought so I took the time to drive to the retail store to have them do a refund at location. They took the information for the refund and never credited my account now I am stuck in a big fiasco trying to get my money back on this item.
