liked the screws provided instead of nails not provided
must follow instructions
My husband and I love the Castlecreek Log bed! It was very easy to put together. We added wood polish conditioner to enhance the wood grain and to prevent drying of the wood. It was a great value for the cost! We can't wait to buy a dresser and two side tables to complete the set!
Very nice bed I had no problem putting it together instructions were great and the quality is great. Actually was impressed with the quality for the price.
Bed arrived quick , easy to assemble and looks great in our spare bedroom .
FedEx brought our bed last Friday. It was better than I expected. Way better. Everything was included except for a couple of hand tools. When we got it all assembled, the bed frame was rock solid. My wife put it together. It has 3 heavy cross beams (slats) and has plenty of reinforcing. I was concerned about the rigidity because I'm a heavy guy. It does have some checks in the wood but it in no way compromises the strength. Great deal for the money. I would highly recommend it.
Relatively easy to put together (single mom, so I did it myself!). I was surprised by how sturdy it is - no creaks or squeaks! Very attractive (I left it natural). I would definitely buy again - and am considering getting the other pieces. I highly recommend this log bed!
There were a number of splits in the wood that I was able to hide by placement. Total assembly was required. I used screws instead of the nails provided for assembly. The pieces were a little short so you are not able to drive them all the way in the holes.
first off when i got it pieces were cracked so i had to put wood glue in it and hope it holds, then i had to wait till the glue dryed before trying to put it together, the box is so heavy it took me everything i had to move it-i didn't want to have to carry it piece by piece but after it was up it looks nice but i hope it holds together do to the cracks-the reason why i didn't return it for a replacement is cause of the amount it would cost to do so.
Almost every single piece of this bed frame was cracked or split. Extremely poor quality. Basically, I paid $450 for a $100 cheap junk bed frame.
