CASTLECREEK Cedar Log Side Table

The glue provided with the table was not used. (School glue?) The lower table part must be attached to the legs first and then the table top put onto the legs. Each part was set tight with the use of a rubber mallet. After everything was set exceptionally tight I used finishing screws to lock them in place. One screw was used on each joint setting the heads @ 1/8 inch into the wood which made them almost invisible. I used Danish Penetrating oil with a bit of my desired stain added. After two coats the finish is waterproof for practical purposes. This turned out to be a really great table.

Purchased two of these for our cottage up north. Great price and value over the holidays. Good communication on shipping except for "last mile" delivery time - later in the day that expected but OK. Really wish the delivery of these could have been combined/coordinated with the bed we also purchased but I believe due to the back order this was not possible. Prior to sale service inquiries were handed with excellence. Easy to assemble. Exactly as I expected.

These are great little night stands. Very well manufactured. The Canadian craftsmanship is fantastic. Assembly was required, but very simple.Very good instructions and all parts fit well. All parts were in the box!!! Very Happy with these.

This table is perfect and goes with the log bed we also purchased. Old fashioned and tastefully authentic for our cabin.

Great end table and made in Canada unlike the other castlecreek made in China (junk). Did not even use glue provided and table is solid.

Bought as a night stand, 3" legs and very sturdy. They have one with a drawer but you'll pay a hundred more for it.

I had one needed another. Assembled easily, and nicely matches Diamond pattern bed. Probably will take any finish you would want to apply. We are allowing ours to age naturally.

i like my new log tables not to bad to put together just wondering about the splits in some of the logs

I love the look of this table. But, the very deep splits (some with wood pieces falling out) in 3 out of 4 legs was too much to overlook. We were planning on putting this in our son's nursery, but felt it would be too dangerous for little fingers with the splits. We tried to contact the company, but unfortunately had to return to Walmart after not hearing back.
