I have used Castrol since the late 1960's. Never had an engine failure , always got 100,000 miles from my rides. Have had several that went past 200,000. My present 2005 Ford F-150 has 200115 miles on it, it gets 5/30 hi- milage oil %26 runs about 6 to 8 thousand miles before adding a quart. The difference in miles driven is caused by the temp difference in the seasons. More oil use in high temps, less in cold temps. Cheaper than some, as good as the best. 1000% satisfied!!!

I have always used Castrol oil for 30 years, but I switched to this advanced. I don't know why, but the oil pressure went up 5lb when hot. So I'm going to keep using it.

l use this in my 2021 Nissan Sentra SV. 5w30 is an alternate viscosity listed in the owners manual. l run 5w30 from late spring until late fall, then 0w20 from late fall until late spring. works good this way. lovely gold jug

Used this in my 4.7 V8 4runner. All I can say is WOW! Silky smooth vs another well known synthetic. So far Im very impressed. This oil has a robust additive package making it long drain capable. I have been turning wrenches since I was 7 years old, (my first try was to change wiper blades on my mom's car,I broke the wiper arm! I repaired it and I learned that I have to be careful and pay attention always) I was part of a mechanic team comparing top engine oil brands. Mobil was hands down number 1, Castrol was a clear 2nd then Valvoline and Quaker State. Castrol oil ran to the heat as well as Mobil, none of the other brands did this in all of our testing.

You can't go wrong with Castrol imo %26 this high mileage version is the best of the best--Walmart usually has the best online price also.....i still do regular normal oil/filter changes but this is a nice insurance plan so to speak....
