Castrol GTX 10W-40 Conventional Motor Oil, 5 Quarts

20W50 is a little thick even for Florida (higher oil pressure). 10W40 works great in my 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo. I only put 1,200 miles every 6 months between changes but that's the service interval. I could go 5,000 miles or 6 months whichever comes first.

This is good motor oil , I use it in a pick up truck ,good engine protection ,does not break down or gum up engine for 1994 pick up truck. I change it every 5000 miles.

This is good oil but doesn't last long 4000 miles max. Its way better than Valvoline in older cars if you don't want lifter and rocker arm rattle. Valvoline oil thins out so fast and causes rattles and is not stable oil in v8 engines. This Castrol gtx is equal to super Tech 10-40 5,000-mile oil I have used both and can't tell any difference both wear out the same and perform the same.

Difficulty in finding this product on store shelves.

I was happy with the pricing on this product, and GTX is a pretty good brand. Worked for me.

I bought it for my husband car.

I had a smog test coming up for my '85 bimmer (engine swapped) and needed to change the oil prior to the test. I searched around and found the Castrol 10w-40 on Amazon first. I was all set to order and then checked the shipping date. It said it wouldn't arrive for another month! So I thought, why not check Walmart just in case. Little did I know that they had just launched their two day shipping program and would get me the oil just in time. I placed my order and received the oil on the expected date. Plus, I passed the smog test the next day! Can't recommend this new two day shipping program enough.

It's the oil I need so happy to order. Wished it was in the store!

Took way too long to deliver, had to wait over a week !!!!

It never made it to our house. The shipper returned it to the vendor due to being damaged.
