Castrol is Good Oil

MARCYVK June 24, 2026

My dad always liked this oil. My car was a little low so I purchased to help me not blow up my engine. It worked.

Only brand we trust

Bwamo1 June 14, 2023

We have been using Castrol GTX for years, it's the only brand we trust in our babies new and old! Castro GTX holds up and doesn't break down in the heat of the south and keeps our engines running great. When it comes time to change the oil and filter, Castrol GTX is always a light golden brown from the usage but always transparent - never cloudy or any sludge. This Full synthetic is slicker that the conventional oil, therefore less friction and wear on the internal components of your motor. Even in our older cars we have slowly transitioned the oil to synthetic, or at least the synthetic mix and it's always Castrol GTX. For the life of your car -yes the brand does matter!

Best oil and Walmart has the best price.

FlintMc September 24, 2024

I have used Castrol oil in all of our engines for years and believe it is the best oil on the market. We have used it in lawn mowers, garden tractors, automobiles, diesel engines and 4 stroke outboard motors, with no problems. I have a 2008 Civic and a 2004 Honda Odessey both with over 300,000 miles them with nothing but Castrol used in them. Enough Said?

Stress less

Mark September 17, 2023

Ever drive to the store, grab a cart with a renegade wheel, push it a mile from the parking lot to the back of the store, trying to avoid every crowded intersection, dodging people aimlessly looking at stuff they really do not need, then finally arrive at the automotive section to stand looking in disappointment as what you are looking for is just not available? Well thanks to this service, the product was on my porch when I returned from work, in just a few simple clicks. Thank you so very much!

Top-notch oil at the best price!

Floridashopper June 25, 2023

I have been pleased with Castrol GTX. I like to change my own oil because I feel I have the time to let the old oil drain more fully than they would at a quick-change place. I also want to use full synthetic, for which they charge extra. I also stick with the same oil, which is better for your engine, and I don't trust most places to have the same oil every time I need it changed. Walmart has a much better price than any of the auto parts stores, even if you consider their "specials" including a filter.

Too soon to know

Angela July 13, 2024

It's hard to say what I really think about this product. I'm being paid to review within the next 2 days, but I honestly haven't used it yet. I'll try to update at a later date if my perception changes.
