I got a medium for an adult, average sized tabby cat, (about medium). It's a very soft and plush donut. Adjustable size (please make sure you can fit one or two fingers under it when you tighten it). It's soft enough to where they can lay their head on it when they're sleeping. It's annoying for them, but not too uncomfortable to where they feel the need to try to get it off. I got this for our boy while he heals. It'll definitely get the job done! It's plush padding, like a stuffed animal, it's non- inflating. The colors are exactly as pictured.

This is a must have for your pet. It is extremely soft and fits around the neck, not covering the face. I'm using on spayed cat to replace vet issued e-collar. Tip: buy before your pets procedure and take to the vet with your pet.

The one thing I didn't like when ordering this donut for a cat I am taking care of is they give you the option of ordering a small, medium or large but don't tell you the measurements of these sizes. I ordered a medium for an adult cat and luckily it fits. Other than that it is working perfectly. This cat managed to sneak outside and got into a fight with another cat and has a gash in her neck that she keeps scratching and making her injury worse. The vet offered us a cone gaurd for around her neck but she kept knocking into things and was having trouble adjusting. The cat doesn't like the donut but she at least gets around better and when she scratches her nails hit the donut not her injury. This is a big improvement compared to the cane. The cat can still do everything except scratch at her injury and she's healing faster now that it's on her. she even uses it as a pillow when she sleeps
