Happy cats
It didn't come with instructions and there was an extra screw. But once it was assembled my cats started using it right away. They love it.

It was not easy to understand instructions. I looked at the picture and figured out how to put it together. It was not hard. My cat loves it!

Good and bad
My cat loves this post. One drawback is base needs more weight to it. Wobbles when he runs up it and especially when he jumps off. He is only 5mos old so I will have to fix that before he's grown.

Missing a screw but good scratching post
Overall I really like this scratching post. I have 2 of them. they are sturdy and tall. My cats love them. The only complaint I have is that both posts are missing the screw for the top cap and one didn't come with instructions.
