My two cats love the Cat Craft 3 tier cat tree. This thing is palatial! It offers three levels, and has a little enclosed house at the bottom. This is a well constructed cat tree. It is very sturdy, and heavy. My cats are both fairly young, and when they get wound up, they can be pretty rough. This cat condo is holding up very well after a week of hard play and use. These cats run up to the top, look down, and slap one another, then run back down. This cat tree does not budge. When it first arrived, I sprinkled a bit of cat nip onto the carpet covering in order to get their interest. It worked. They literally went nuts over this cat condo, and are always perched on it now. This condo also includes cat toys to affix to the tiers. My cats love them. I can honestly report that this is a great purchase for cats and kittens. It encourages them to climb and play, which creates active cats. My family and I are also getting a lot of enjoyment from this cat tree. We like to simply sit and watch the show when the cats are being wild on it. It's great! I recommend this cat condo to all household with cats.
First, this is meant for kittens and smaller cats, but I still use it even for my adult/large cats. If kittens were to play on this, I'm certain it wouldn't wobble at all. But I have 7 cats, and 4 of them are well above 10 pounds. The other 3 are about 8-10 pounds. It wobbles a bit when they jump on it, but it seems sturdy because the base is wider than the top. The insert that you put inside the top post expands to the height of your ceiling because it has a spring inside of it. Because this tension pole attaches to the ceiling, it is sturdier, and it keeps it from falling over when they jump on it. All of my cats enjoyed getting on it to look out the window, and they enjoyed the toys it came with too.
I have 6 cats. I am officially a crazy cat lady. So a sturdy cat tree is important. We have cats from 8 lbs up to 20 lbs. And this cat tree supports them all! Even big mega cat! Setup was fairly easy, just took maybe a half hour (I had my husband do it, however, I probably could have myself). You can choose to turn the bottom cubby hole different ways, as with the shelving steps- so I arranged them in a way that works for our space. Then he tightened it all up and placed the topper on- and I am very very surprised how sturdy it is! And the top piece is rubbery so it won't damage our pretty ceiling! There are also cute hanging/springy cat toys you can attach- and initially did- but our youngest went so crazy excited over the toys she chased all the other cats off the tree, lol. So we took the toys off so it's more of an all cat lounger vs a play tree. The toys are a HUGE hit with all the cats, though, so they are being played with around the house constantly. Even my bigger cats can go to the top ledge and it's perfectly sturdy. I also like that it's movable- for now, it's upstairs, but we will be moving it downstairs to a window as fall hits. The only thing worth mentioning is the small cubby at the bottom is too small for my adult cats, but the teen kitty loves it (she's about 8 lbs and fits). Overall, a GREAT cat tree. (see picture to see the 20 pound grey floofy kitty on the lower large shelf of the cat tree)
Our cats love the Cat Craft Three Tier Cat Tree with Cat Condo, Charcoal. It is really stunning and has so much for them to do. You definitely want two people to put it together, just makes it easier. However, it went together very quickly. It secures well to the wall in two ways to keep it safe for your cats. The colors are appealing and the materials are soft. I love that there are different materials for each of the scratching posts, for a great variety. There is even a cut cat condo on the bottom level. The added toys are fun, but one of our cats immediately chewed the string off. But they are enjoying it tremendously!
This is a very nice looking and sturdy cat condo. The tension rod works great even with my 17 lbs cat jumping on it. It does come with a strap to secure to the wall with for extra safety. My cat was immediately attracted to it and likes sitting on the first platform. He is too big to get on the top platform, but he is a pretty large cat and I was surprised he could get on the first one. The dangling toys are a nice touch and he like those too, but we had to remove som so he would fit on the platforms better.
This Craft Cat Tree is very tall, great for a little climber. I love the charcoal color, it's nice and pretty much goes with everything else in the room. I would make sure to use the ceiling rod that comes with the cat tree to keep it from tipping over, since it is really tall on one side or you can use the anchor that came with it. It is very easy to put together....maybe 10-15 minutes. Directions are pretty easy to follow. This is probably better suited for smaller/ normal size cats. My cat, Batman is 18-20lbs so there is no way he can fit in the condo or go threw the hole to get to the next level but he does like the toys and like's to lay on the large area of the tree. He has not made it to the higher levels yet. Overall it is a great tree to keep a cat/kitten busy and lots of towers to scratch their claws on.
My cat isn't much of a climber, but he loves sitting and looking out the window. He also loves finding a cozy place and making it his "home" to nap there and meatloaf. He loves scratching his nails and playing with toys, especially those with feathers. So this ticked all those boxes. The entire process from unboxing to done took about 45 minutes. It didn't require any special tools, and our ceilings are short, so I only required a kitchen chair to stand on. My 5 year old helped build, she enjoyed helping me find the correct letter pieces and using the included wrench to help tighten. The directions are really good about outlining each piece included, labeled, and each step. But the orientation is a bit tricky to follow, so I ended up having to take apart the top shelf and reinstall because I did it backwards. The condo itself is pretty small, I could see only kittens or very small cats utilizing it. The cat scratch posts come with a pretty strong odor with the hemp rope. I'm hoping over time they air out. The top part has a spring and pressures against the ceiling for stability. And it comes with a furniture strap to mount to the wall so it cannot tip forward.
oh goodness this three tier cat tree is gianormous ! seriously it goes all the way to the ceiling. My cats definitely love it and are having so much fun. Every tier has something for the cat to enjoy. I am impressed
I have this set up in the basement for my cats. For the most part it is a great place for my cat to climb. I can't speak for my cat but we have another one upstairs that she loves to sleep on. This has a multi level design where the cat can climb. It also locks into the ceiling with an extension. My only concern is that I wish it had an enclosed area and a level that had a backing on it so that the cat can rest and hide. It is very easy to assemble. Great for maybe a small area where space is limited.
My cat just loves her current kitty tree, but unfortunately, she has loved it a little too much and worn out her scratching post area at the bottom. I was super excited to get the Cat Craft Three Tier Cat Tree with Cat Condo for her and even more excited that it came with two scratching post poles! This three tiered cat condo comes neatly packed in a box and must be assembled. It doesn't include many pieces and all necessary tools for assembly are included, which is really helpful! I found the instructions to be very simple and the only part that could have been easier would be if the bolts would have been labeled. The bolts look very similar to one another and at one point I used the wrong length bolt, but was easily able to notice my mistake and fix it. The tower includes 3 levels (one with a hole), a condo, 2 different textured scratching posts and 4 toys. There is also 2 regular poles and another shorter length regular pole incase you need extra height. The post also includes a tension pole to help secure the tower to your ceiling and a wall strap for safety. All pieces for this tower seemed nice quality and there weren't loose strings or carpet pieces hanging off it. The material covering the majority of the tower was very soft and though it states it as a charcoal color, I feel it's more of a medium gray. I felt the platforms and the cat condo seemed a little on the small side. This tree says it's recommended for small to medium cats under 10 lbs, but my 4 year old cat is about 6 lbs and she looked a little too big, especially for the condo. I do love that this tower can be customized to some degree. You can move the toys around in various positions and even move the poles around if you wish. The platforms are designed with extra holes on the underside and the instructions say you can customize even more with additional pieces (sold separately.) This tower isn't quite as sturdy as my cat's other one and it's taking her some time to come around to the idea of using it. As for my thoughts, I think it's a decent cat tower, but will work best for smaller cats.
