It is a piece of wire with cardboard on both ends. Cheap but effective. Cats love it. Supervised play only. Could be dangerous if cats are left unattended with it. There are no batteries or feathers so why those are part of the rating I have no clue. All in all, it is a fun toy for cats and gives them a good work out. I have two cats and bought one for each. They play with them daily. Please do not leave the toy around young children. The cardboard piece has already fallen off of one toy.

It's probably not the best value, but my considering how much the cat loves it, it's worth it. It's her favorite toy. It was my last cat's favorite toy, as well. It moves randomly/unpredictably, like a butterfly. Highly recommend!

my cats LOVE this toy......even the foster kittens are totally entertained by it. When there was an error and I only received one, when I ordered two, Wal-Mart came thru and delivered the second one in two days....no issues. I love Wal-Mart, and this is why!Love this toy and Wal-Mart

I'm a new cat owner and I took in a 2 year old male, we were trying a bunch of different toys to see what he liked, up until this toy we couldn't get him interested in anything. immediately when the wire started bouncing slightly up and down he was hooked! it's simple and elegant! i didn't think he would be into this as much as he is. great option for playful kitties

This toy is the absolute best! It seriously has kept my male kitten entertained for hours. He will flip it around and play with it himself. It is the second one that I have bought.

Hands down the best cat toy ever. It's been around forever for a reason. It won't last forever, but for the amount of kitty entertainment the price is a bargain.

My cat loves playing with this toy either with me or alone. More important he STILL loves playing with the toy after 2 years. (They do wear out after awhile but are inexpensive enough to replace).

Have not tried this product yet! I believe it could be fun for them, but must be monitored by an adult and make sure the feline does not get caught up in the wire used to make the cat move around. Not sure I will use the one I purchased!
