my husband put the cat flap in to replace one that broke. Thankfully we could use some of the screws from the old one as upvc door is just a little to thick for the 4 screws supplied. it needed screws the other side of the door to ensure a proper fit. Cat gets on well with the new flap. No problem.

I bought some insulation board and mounted the cat door in the insulation board and placed it in our laundry room window. Our cats are able to jump up to the window and sit on the ledge and go in and out as they please. I love not having to open and close the doors when they want to go out during the night!

Really like this cat flap. I mounted it on a storage tote that I insulated to make an outdoor house for my cat. I was worried that the cat flap wouldn't mount on something as thin as a storage tote, but it works perfectly. This would be great to mount on a storm door as well.

Just cheap old plastic, nothing fancy, provided hardware doesn't really work (screw length too short). It'll get the job done if you're on a budget. Don't expect anything great of this thing. We installed in basement door just to be able to close cat liter door away. It'll work for a little bit I'm guessing

Oh my was this difficult to install, many holes were made, many holes failed to be the *absolute* perfect match and so the nails just wouldn't match up. My husband installed 2 cat flaps as we have 2 back doors, the other cat flap (a microchip one) took less than half the time!Having said that, the cat flap itself works fine and was super cheap so...

Our door is 1.25 inches thick. The screws provided and interior flushing do not span the total thickness. I cannot screw the two faces together and if I could the interior of the door would be exposed making it both ugly and unsafe for the cats being exposed to cut portions of frame. I tried to add photos showing the exposed door interior and how short the screws are relative to the door thickness but the website threw back errors every time I tried.

almost right away does not open from outside. a stray dog is trying to kill my cat and animal control can't catch it. so took off loose lock which was on wrong side of doir flap. still won't open from outside!!!
