Catherines Women's Plus Size Petite Scoopneck Maxi Dress

I love the color combination of this dress! The blue seems to be fuzzier than the red, don't know why but I still like this dress. It runs a little large but I would not go down a size if you like your clothes a little loose which I do. I have a Catherines red cardigan that looks great with it. Thanks!

My husband approved the look of this dress on me immediately!...A rare occurance. <br />He loves the side slits and color/pattern.<br />I love the fit and flow of this dress as well.<br />I'm 69 and this dress covers my upper arms just perfectly...Something that most of us need at my age.<br />The color is just as it shows in the photo on-line. A good buy when on sale or discount, for sure!<br />Size 18/20, 5'7" tall, 69 yrs old, 255 lbs.

I love everything about this dress so that I’m buying another one. <br /><br />It’s slimming and right length length. Sleeves are long enough without being too long. I like the fact that the fabric is a little heavier than most because it adds to the outfit. And I love the pockets! It is very comfortable for me and I live in Florida.

I get these dress to wear with lots of things you can dress up or down and I love how the fabric feels and keeps it shape even after lots of washings . They can be used year round and that’s always a plus! I will say that I’m 5’6 / 5’7 and I do have to order the petite length. The regular length was just a little long.

I ordered this dress in both colors. I normally wear a 1X in full beauty but a 2X petite in Catherine's tops. I've gotten a dress from Catherine's in the 2xwp that is my favorite of all time. If it had come in more than one color, my closet would be bursting with them! However, these dresses were really large. I think that they are perhaps sized more to the "usual" full beauty/onestop sizing, so don't size up. Also, the blue really IS purple. It's not blue with prominent purple that overwhelms it--it's purple. I like purple so I didn't mind. The fabric is soft and if they had fit I would have kept them.

I love everything about this dress. Although the color looked purple and that made it perfect for me. When I read the other reviews the biggest complaint seemed to be that when they got the dress it looked purple. So I was looking forward to the dress looking "purple". It did not. It was dark blue almost black. Pretty much like the description. But I still love it. It fits well and the best part is the pockets. It could have been a smidge longer. But still great.

Material is a bit heavy but it is sewn well.

Bought the solid red. Color very dull. Fabric is much heavier now. Mostly a cheap, thick polyester. Disappointed! I have the other colors from last year when purchased at catherines, a purple/white and a red/blue and was very happy but it just not pretty.

I have the red/navy floral version. It's a very comfortable dress, and the petite fits well. However, the colors have faded noticeably and the material has pilled (and yes, I wash it in cool water and it's a new washing machine, so that isn't the problem).

Disappointed in this dress is an understatement. This is not Catherine’s store quality. Fabric in the dress I was sent was not a thick polyester like some reviews said. My dress was made of a thin tee shirt-like material. Very strange. I returned it. Size was as I expected. Quality very low.
