Catherines Women's Plus Size Starlight Duet

This duet look top is very nice! It fits well and is very comfortable. I purchased the purple and the color is rich and majestic. I plan to buy the green, red and blue, hoping for that same color vividness. Although I love the purple, it's a challenge to find color coordinating bottoms. Wearing it with black slacks is so boring. I wash it either by hand or on the delicate wash cycle and hang dry. It has retained the color and shape and looks good as new after several wearings and washings.

I bought this in blue and I think it is gorgeous. I hope they are able to restock it because I would love to get it in green as well.<br /><br />I was a bit hesitant about the tie-dye pattern but it is very subtle. I personally think it gives it a crushed velvet look and makes it look even softer than it already is.<br /><br />I think the fit is very flattering. It drapes well and came out beautifully when washed.

Ok quality. Not as nice looking in person as on website. I look like an old lady in it. Catherine's could use an update in style.

Although this is a very nice top, the colors shown are not portrayed accurately. I ordered this in the cherry red hoping to have a beautiful red top for the upcoming holiday. However, it is more of a burnt rust color. I still like the top, but was very disappointed that the color wasn't as advertised on the site.

I ordered the dark sapphire. What I received was a muted grayish blue. The style is nice, but this is certainly not what was advertised. I was going to buy one in each color, now I do not know what I would be getting if I ordered the other colors. <br />This was not an honorable, nor an honest advertisment of the product.

I bought the cherry red and dark sapphire blue. What I got were more faded fuschia and light denim colored. I feel like some quality control should have been exercised here, as the colors and names of the colors online are jewel toned. The fit and cut were fine and the colors aren't ugly--they're just a very dressed down version and not suitable for where I'd hoped to wear them. I would maybe wear them at home with jeans if I kept them. Also, I didn't realize that these have some sequins on them. That would be more fitting with bright, jewel toned tops. These are getting returned, which is sad, because the versions pictured online are lovely.
