Catskill Craftsmen Transitional Wooden Storage Bench in Black

Arrived quickly in perfect condition, went together easily, and is perfect for my intended use. Had a strong chemical smell, but it disappeared fairly quickly after airing out. I particularly like the slow closing feature, so it's impossible to hurt fingers in the lid. Looks great. Great little piece.

This item is exactly what I was looking for. It fits just right at the foot of my bed allowing enough room to walk around. I am so pleased that I am ordering another. My only point of contension is the price - it is a bit pricey ($65 or $70 would still be overpriced, but better than the actual price the company is getting).

I purchased this for a small entryway and feel that for the price, the bench is perfect! It is wide enough for two small people to sit on it, or one larger person. I love how the top part of the bench opens for ample storage and doesn't slam shut, but closes very gently (great for small kids in the house!). I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a small storage bench in a limited space. Also it was very easy to put together which helped!

Very easy to put together! Perfect height, width and everything! I love it and it's safe as well. There is a safe guard so the top will not slam down on my son's hand.

Bought this chest for our hallway to hold shoes and boots. It is very attractive and for the money, it is of decent quality. Assembles in half an hour and is durable. Nice finish. Would recommend this product.

Very easy to put together and looks great. Had a small chip on one side, not worth returning. Also had strong "chemical-like " smell, but dissipated after a day or two. Still great product. It fits perfectly in our daughter's room, to hold straggling toys. Great buy for the price!!

I'm a teacher, and I searched stores and Internet sites for a nice-looking, roomy storage bench with a lift-up top to store several bags for organizing materials. My den looks so much neater now. The top doesn't flop down, making it easy to take things in and out. It took my husband about 30 minutes to assemble it. The chemical smell dissipated in a couple of days. I have it under a window in the den, serving as extra seating. Just what I was looking for.

This works great for me cause I only used it for our shoes. Works perfectly in the space that I had to work with which was a small area. It was hard to find one that exact size. So it works well for what I need it for. I wished they would provide where to purchase the cushions as I have not been able to find one on line that size. THanks

I bought two of these and was so excited when they arrived at my home. But after opening the first one and finding the corner broken off I decided that they were both going back. The "wood" was simply too cheap for me to justify keeping them. For half the price or less this bench may be worth it but I can't afford to pay a hundred dollars for something that cant even make it through the mail in one piece lat alone hold my 200 lb self. Oh well, off to look for a real wooden bench...

Bought one a few weeks ago and it was great. No problem putting together. I liked it so much I bought another. The second one was so taped up or should I say reaped. When I went to open the cardboard box was wet and water damaged. The product itself was cracked on all corners and splintering. HORRIBLE. Taking back for refund.
