i get just the caulipower crust to make my own pizza and they are fantastic, especially if you enjoy a thin and crsip crust. I usually do pesto or no sauce (evoo, garlic and pecorino) with burrata, sun dried tomatoes , artichokes and arugula and its the best pizza ever!
Overall, this is our first experience with cauliflower pizza crust. We bought it principally because it was a thin crust and we like that. However, it certainly is comparable to any of the frozen thin crust pizzas you might buy, and since you can put on whatever toppings you like it really makes it a good choice and we continue to buy it.
I buy these often, as a base for veggies %26 mozz without sauce. A pack of two yields two nutritious meals. If you can adjust to a crispy, healthy crust, this cuts out all the sodium %26 fat of the store bought or delivery pizzas at a far lower cost.
We are thin crust pizza lovers and wanted to build our own and eat heathier, so we gave this a try. If I didn't know it was a cauliflower crust, I wouldn't have guessed. It also holds up well to a lot of toppings and still gets crispy. It's a winner, in our house.
This was the first time I've purchased the Caulipower frozen pizza shell. I have made my own cauliflower pizza crusts before - but to make them correctly and get them crispy so that they are not soggy- takes a long time. After reading the item description of this caulipower pizza crust and other people's descriptions - I decided to try it. This product contains two pizza shells. No toppings, no sauce (which made me very happy) I make 99% of what I eat because I want good clean food without a lot of junk ingredients. I also eat very very low carb and I like to be able to control what goes into my food. SO I appreciate this bare crust. I pulled the crust out (I had froze mine), topped it with Rao's pizza sauce, homemade meatballs, bacon, onion, pepperoni, sausage, and Moz cheese. It was loaded! Yet, it came out super crispy and not at ALL soggy. GREAT product - will buy again
I like to be able to eat a pizza that does not have flour in it…. I'm not sure that this one does, I forgot to look at the package before I tossed it. I was disappointed that when I went back to look at the description of the product, the photos do not include ingredient information… that I think, could be deceptive advertisement., but I feel I'm eating healthier than a normal crust. I prefer buying just the cross so I can add exactly what I want to it. It does seem a little expensive, but I feel no worth it.
This is amazing pizza crust Cut out the overuse of unnecessary carbs and sugars without cutting the taste. My four grandson's love this pizza crust and so do I. Easy to use Remove from package, add your own sauce (or no sauce), cheese and your favorite toppings. You can cut the pizza crust in half and make two different topping pizzas without having any over lapping from one side to the other Preheat oven Place pan in oven or directly on the rack 14 minutes later absolutely wonderful low carb low sugar pizza right in your kitchen. I have recommended to everyone I know that likes pizza.
If you like cauliflower, you will be okay with this pizza crust. if you do not like cauliflower, I do not recommend it because it has a hint of cauliflower in the taste.
For a product with the main selling point being that it's made of cauliflower, there sure is a lot of unhealthy filler ingredients. Rice flour, corn starch and tapioca starch are all a lot cheaper than cauliflower. You're charging nearly 8 dollars for a 5 ounce "pizza crust" and then cheaping out on the main selling point? Not a good look.
Marketed as a cauliflower crust, but the main ingredients are brown rice flour, rice flour, tapioca starch, and corn starch. This behaves like a refined starch crust, not a low-glycemic alternative. I use a continuous glucose monitor and saw significant, prolonged blood sugar spikes after eating this — even with protein, fat, and vegetables. Daytime glucose is normally very stable for me. Not saying it's bad for everyone, but people avoiding blood sugar spikes or refined carbs should read the ingredient list carefully. I won't buy this again.
