Really good stories, acting, scenery in and around London. If you like the books you will love the shows.

C.B. Strike
This was a very good video. So good to see a less that perfect young man making a success out of his life. He has stumbled a bit, but then to error is human. Enjoyed it very much.

Cormoran Strike
I love this character! The actor is perfect, as are the character actors. I think this is a top rated series! I don't understand why it didn't get more "hoopla". I'd recommend it to any mystery fan!

Great adaptation from the book
The actors are as i pictured them from the book and the story is pretty close, at least the first episode is close enough for me! I forsee binge watching over Thanksgiving

Not as good as the books, then when is it ever.
If your a fan of the books you will be disappointed. The screen is never as good as your own mind. The interaction and development between the characters are what made the books a great read, they missed that in the sceenplays. You lose Strikes intelligence, subtle dry humor and his most discerning feature.... his size. Although if you can leave the books out of it, the show itself is good.

Good acting, disappointing plot changes
Good actors, but the script butchered the book with no apparent logic. Lots of interesting details and characters wiped out, including the motive of the murderer! Silly to no end. If you've enjoyed the books, stay off this.
