Just plug in and write your own music cds from whichever platform you subscribe to; spotify, amazon music, etc.
I have to be honest and say I have not yet used this, but it is a solid piece...not fragile in the least and I have no doubt that it will live up to my expectations for what I want it for. which is burning family videos of photos.

Excellent product for a great price. Product was exactly as advertised.
Very very short cord. Suitable for a laptop however I purchased for desktop that doesn't have cd/dvd rom drive. PC recognized it loaded software I needed but not very much else.
Small with big issues. Don't play or burn cds. Difficult to update, %26 still have the same issues.
Well It worked great the first day! Next day would light up then go off. Could therefore not sink. I might reorder again and try it. It looks good quality. Maybe I got a Lemmon.
It keeps opening when I try to play any thing in it. Sent back. I do not keep junk.
