I had this timer once before. It lasted a good 20 years before I accidentally broke it. The large display is excellent for this of us with difficulty seeing smaller displays. The alarm is loud enough to hear from another room. The only drawback is that for longer periods (over 1 hour and 30 minutes) it will not work as it can only be set for 99 minutes %26 99 seconds.
I ordered this item because I often run in dim light and the extra large, bold numbers help me to keep track of my time even while running at a decent pace.
Excellent timer; easy to set and stop; has good long ring to alert you to end of time you set it for. Easy to read numbers.
