I've placed these cedar blocks pretty much everywhere in my spare bedroom closet. I probably overdid it. I like the smell; it's not overwhelming, but it's a nice, moderate scent. They definitely freshened the closet and storage trunks. I'm going to purchase more, plus some, for my brother's house to get rid of the stale, mildew /musty smell.

My husband had to drill holes in the cedar plank so they could be hung on with the wool item. It would have been nice to have the cedar plank predrilled. I'm still happy with them.

I have a really old dresser %26 chest of drawers that was making my clothes smell like wood Since I put the cedar planks in the drawers it's fixed that problem

I'm waiting for these to get a little bit stronger cedar smell to them. I don't want to spend the money to buy more if they're not going to be stronger. but they'll work for small spaces. I do have some smell and if you sand them it helps. I'm hoping they get stronger as it goes on but for now they get a three star.

They smelled nice at first, but after a week, you can't even smell it anymore.

These are small but you can use more then just one! The problem is they have no scent at all, so what is the sense. Yes you can buy the oil, but not at the beginning purchase. I don't recommend this product!
