Cedric Grandfather Clock with Chime Golden Brown

I love this for the price. It's simple design (battery operating) makes it carefree. It is is tall and sturdy. The pendulum swings and it looks beautiful. Knew it was quiet from other reviews, but when in the same room it sounds very nice. Very happy with this purchase.

not bad for the price u paid! its big and sturdy, almost the same as the $ 2000 ones. yeah we have to put battery but so what, it works perfect...have no problems or regret..love it.

The clock was packaged safely and nothing arrived broken which was a concern. It took me about an hour to assemble; it was very easy. The Chinese manufacturers used very cheap tape on the two glass doors so you will have residue after peeling but after some wd40 and glass spray, good as new. The clock set up was easy and everything functions properly. The finish is not as glossy but i fixed that with some furniture polish which Coastal recommends anyway. I must say that for the money, this clock is beautiful and looks great in my living room.

Got the clock set up, looks great. I wanted something to decorate the front foyer, the clock works perfect for the money. The meal floor clock that has investment value costs $3000+. I do not need that

I feel the price is too high for this clock, but it is pretty, and I like the color. It is pretty sturdy, and they give you a tool to keep the clock connected to the wall so it doesn't fall. Kids or big animals may make it tip. The pendulum swings, and you can select how you want the chime to sound, it has 3 selections. It also has a volume button, but at max volume it's quiet, hard to hear. The clock does not chime at night, but there is no am or pm button, and I put this clock together at night along with putting in the batteries. Since I put in the batteries at night, it chimes at night and not during the day. I had to take the batteries out to ""reset,"" so when it chimes, it chimes during the day.

Clock is beautiful but only gets a 4 star. The chimes are very soft and can hardly be heard. Also the sticky tape used to secure the glass while shipping is a nightmare to remove.

paid almost 500 with 3 year warranty. arrived in 2 days!! I was so happy!! plenty of "time" till Christmas!! on the eve I opened the box to assemble and the back panel was broken. had some chips here and there. looks like second hamd store. Also for that $.... could the sound fx sound better than Atari? not pleased whatsoever
