It has a 3 speed fan, but I always run it on the highest setting at 2200 rpm. I use a headset during most of my game play and I can't hear the fan running while playing. I play a wide variety of games and never have any overheating issues playing 6-8 hour sessions. It's extremely easy to install, just plug in the USB to the back of the console and set the fan on top. The button to the left selects the three speeds of the fan and turns it on and off. It does not have an auto on or off option. Don't worry, you always know when it's on because of the colorful LED light strip all the way around the top of the fan. You can select to have one solid color on, or there is a random setting that constantly dances all of the different colors, or as a third alternative you can turn off the colored led strip all together. The dust shield is a nice added bonus as well. I was wasting pressurized air cans to clean my console of dust once a month, but now it stays clean and I just wipe off the dust cover. I've been using it for over 3 months now and I have zero regrets for this purchase. It's a small price to pay for the added protection of a new age gaming console.

My son asked for this because he plays his game for a long periods of time. The lights that it displays are pretty cool. It does exactly what they said it would do by keeping the Xbox series X cool so it does not overheat.

I got this for my son's xBox series - and it was super easy to attach and set up. He likes the different colors and now his room isn't a sauna from the amount of heat these little xboxes throw out.

It works great

It does the job but be sure to unplug it after use. I would originally just press the button to turn off the light then I realized that didn't matter. After I turn off the light it would magically turn right back on causing a sneaky light show in the middle of the night while I'm sleep

The fan works great. Almost no noise. I don't need all the fancy lights but knowing whether it is on low, medium or high by the color is nifty. The problem is it is powered via a USB cable that plugs into the console itself. However the USB slots on my Series X are always live. So when I powered down the console the fan continues to run. I solved it with a remotely operated smart outlet that had a USB port as well as power. Now I can turn the fan off remotely.

Looks exactly like the picture. I returned mine only because it seems like when the fan is on it actually is blowing the air back into the gaming system rather than pulling the air out. I feel like my Xbox actually got hotter when I was using the fan then without.

The product received worked blowing full continuous air for 10min until overheating. not good for money spent

Picture was misleading not even the little dust caps that you put in the unused ports in the back were there nothing in the box but the actual fan nothing else no instructions and the desk cover is non-detachable it's constantly on which, in my opinion only makes it run hotter I would not recommend this to anyone. I'm going to box it up and put it in the corner and file it under bad purchases maybe I can give it to someone that I don't like.
