The celestial seasoning brand provides reliable quality tea and no additives. I bought this rather expensive flavor because I have to cut down on my coffee consumption and some reviews claimed it resembles the taste of coffee. It does NOT. It has s a very good tasty flavor, however, there is no resemblance with coffee. If that's what you are looking for, get chicory or a mushroom coffee. But it tastes great
Gentle, soothing , caffeine free, Roastaroma is a lovely nighttime drink.
Celestial Seasonings Roastaroma Herbal Tea has a rich roasted flavor that feels warm and comforting with every cup. The strength is smooth but still bold enough to satisfy coffee lovers looking for a caffeine free option. It mixes well with honey or milk and brews quickly without leaving much sediment at the bottom. The aroma is cozy and inviting and the flavor has a nice balance of roasted barley and chicory notes. This tea is perfect for relaxing in the evening or enjoying on a cold morning.
Absolutely love it. Rich carob and chicory notes, full bodied and delicious. I add small amount of half and half and stevia and it's perfect. Thanks for making such a great product!
I tried this for my first time at my churches beverage bar. I like the flavor of coffee but don't like coffee due to the bitterness. This tea gave me those flavor notes and when you add a splash of cream... Chefs kiss! I was thrilled to discover it on this site as it's not easy to find in stores near me. I will forever keep this in stock in my tea stash!
It is pretty good!
I really enjoyed trying the Celestial Seasonings Roastaroma Herbal Tea. The aroma is warm and comforting, with a roasted, slightly nutty scent that reminds me of coffee but without any bitterness. The flavor is smooth and earthy, making it a great option for evenings when I want something cozy without caffeine. The packaging is sturdy and easy to open, and the tea bags hold up well without tearing. I also appreciate that it delivers a rich taste for a herbal blend, especially considering the affordable price. Overall, it's a satisfying, flavorful tea that feels both soothing and unique.
I think I may have already reviewed this. It's interesting, hard to describe both the scent and taste. Only word I can use to describe both is "roasted". Hubby didn't mind it. He recently had to get off all caffeine and has really missed the taste of coffee. Been searching for alternative options. Tried several. This he thought was a good option for traveling or taking to a restaurant for a post-meal coffee alternative, but it's a taste you have to get used to. However, his favorite thus far is the Pero instant "herbal coffee". The taste/flavor is just like coffee. He absolutely loves it!
I expected packaging similar to what Celestial Seasoning normally provides-all individual packages cellophane wrapped freshness. This was 6 tea boxes with dots of glue holding them shut and no protective outer wrap, just tossed in a box and shipped in the mail. I can't imagine that Celestial Seasonings would sell unwrapped packages to a retailer so I am guessing these boxes came from some sort of pallet store resale and I am not amused at all . Never ordering from WalMart again.
In the description: Includes six 20-count boxes of Celestial Seasonings Roastaroma Herbal Tea--UNTRUE! I received 1 box. Walmart will not refund (they are instructing me to return the 1 box to the store) because these particular tea bags come from a "third party". It was shipped, packaged by Walmart! I should get refunded without having to return the "third party" item. This was one of two (6 pack) tea bags I ordered--the other flavored tea bags also were missing 5 of the 6 boxes advertised--which Walmart is refunding me.
