It was a good purchase but one of the eye pieces was cracked so can only use one not both. Other than that. We have enjoyed it.

It works great for looking at the moon and, that's about it. With the 9.7mm lens that came with the telescope and a 5X Barlow lens that I already had, I could barely see the rings on Saturn but it was difficult to focus on it. And, if you're looking to take pictures of anything with it, the moon is probably about it as even with a 5X Barlow lens, all I could get was a small dot and no detail whatsoever. I haven't tried to look at Jupiter yet but I'm not expecting this telescope to be very impressive with regard to that considering its inability to see Saturn very good. The red-dot finder scope seems to be pretty cheaply made and seems to have a loose connection in it or something as the laser dot keeps flickering or going out completely until you adjust the knob or wiggle it a little bit. I tried cleaning it with some contact cleaner but that didn't work. I can't give any impression regarding the mount because I rigged an equatorial mount from an old Celestron 127EQ that I had. Lastly, the smartphone adapter that comes with the telescope is junk.
