We can see 2 bands on Jupiter and 2 moons. See Saturn's ring and the space between ring and Saturn. Can't make out individual rings though, might be too late in the year for that. Lining up 3 stars / planets takes about 5 minutes. Then just select what you want on the hand piece.

We bought this on sale, and could not be happier. I don't know that much about telescopes, but this feels like a good quality middle of the road fancy telescope. The remote works really well to line up the stars and planets to view. It has amazing clarity. You can also purchase other lenses for it but it comes with 2. We've been watching the stars and planets at night from our deck in Los Angeles, and so far we've seen Venus, the moon and some stars. But we can't wait to take it camping and see with a clearer sky. I highly recommend this purchase, especially for people new to using telescopes.

I dont have anything to compare this to, but wow. So easy to use and spectacular views! I was so eager I got a glimpse of the moon within a hour of receiving it. I had a 12volt ac adapter which worked like a charm! Batteries would nice for camping but not all night watching from home. Would definitely recommend this scope.

This is an excellent telescope with many advanced features. Does take some time to get able to use properly mainly during the setup. We have gotten some beautiful views of the moon and Venus.

This is my first serious scope and I chose it after much research and deliberation. The goto feature is accurate once you learn how to align it. However, you will need an external power source. It takes 8 AA batteries but will drain them in one night of use. I also recommend a 32mm eyepiece and moon filter for a better ciewing exerience. But the stock 25mm is very good.
