I used this to keep my dash camera charged and ready to go when not in use. It would not keep memory charged so I need a device to charge it from an AC outlet in the house while not on the road. Plug it in - plug in the cigarette lighter plunger and you have continuous charging. WORKS GREAT!

I have an old vehicle DVD player which I brought into the home and this ac/dc port is perfect. Rather than getting rid of the old DVD player-it could be use again in the home.

The newer GPS devices require more power than a typical wall charger can deliver. No need to purchase a $20 plus wall adapter when you can easily use this. Works equally well with cell phones. Makes a great stocking stuffer.

For as many apps it is suppose to put out it pretty much only has enough power to run lights, which a normal adapter of this kind will do. It won't run a dust buster, a portable air compressor, nor does it have enough power to charge anything with a dc car plug, all of which limits its usefulness. Very disappointing.

This item doesn't work. The green light appears but there is no power supplied whatsoever. What a waste of resources.
