Just did a 20 minute waterproof test on the case with a piece of tissue in place of my phone. And, it passed! Case came with a few smudges underneath the protective layer on the inside of the front case but, I was able to clean with a little bit of water and lightly wiped it. Other than that no issues to speak of. Very happy with this case. This is the second one of this kind. I had my phone in my pocket with a soft tube of hand cream and the corner of the tube made tiny scratch marks in the middle of the front screen. It would have to be the front right!! So now I know not to have anything at all in my pockets.
