Product value limited due to CU uncertainty
The 1000 to 150,000 unit CU uncertainty makes planning experiments difficult. It appears the enzyme may be cut in dextrin. Dextrin provides glucose oxidase production of hydrogen peroxide. If the enzyme was dextrin free it could be used to directly quantify glucose production arising from cellulase activity. Currently, glucose from cellulase activity and glucose from dextrin are difficult to separate.
