CENTAUR Turbo-Dry Black Cooler with Neck (469716BLK-HRSE)

I've owned this cooler for a few years now and absolutely love it. I get a trace clip done on my horses and so this helps to dry them off quickly after a workout. This cooler is an essential piece of equipment for my winter riding.

Recommended by another rider. Perfect fit, and perfect material and design for Maine winter training.

The quality seemed great but I ordered a Horse (72"-76") for my QH Paint who usually wears a 74"-75". This was so snug I couldn't get the front closures closed and I couldn't get the surcingle clasps within 6 inches of the hook. I was disappointed to have to return the cooler.

Agree with other reviews that this cooler runs small. My OTTB is 16.1 and typically wears a 76. This cooler just barely fits, and as he continues to fill out and gain weight I do fear he will outgrow it. The quality of this cooler seems solid and it looks nice on, but I haven't found it to dry sweaty areas any faster than without a cooler. If anything, it seems to prolong drying. Despite this, I am going to continue using until he outgrows to keep him warm while his sweat dries this winter, even if it does take a bit longer!

I've admittedly only used this twice however, it seems to hold more heat in then wick sweat away. My horse was sweatier after having it on to “cool out” 30 mins after we were done riding than he was when I untracked. Juries still out but if you're looking for a light weight blanket for inside, this may be a good option!
