This is an excellent USB flash drive. My system uses version 2.0 but this is backwards compatible & works just fine. It is noticeably about 50% faster than my other flash drives which are 2.0. When needed I will definitely buy more.
I was transferring data from a damaged laptop to a new one. This worked fine for storing all of my files and quickly loading them onto the new device.
I needed something to store photos and this fits the bill! I have 1000s of photos and most are large files. Still have room for new ones!
Does what it touts. Is reliable %26 ez to use, great value.
Large memory held 7,600+ photos!
Had no trouble with backing up Music, Photos & Documents. Advertised with usage light, but when I called support, they said the blinking light was not on the model?
Have not run any tests. The feel is solid on the drive. Nice square edges so 2 drives sit side by side nicely on my laptop. No blinking light to show the drive is working though. Five stars if it had a light.
I ordered this specifically to use with Windows 8 & 10 as a backup for my files. The system would NOT identify it finally the error message indicted "reformat" and when I did so it worked. According to the description it is supposed to be compatible with Windows 8 & 10.
My review is for the TERRIBLE packaging. A corrugated box within a corrugated box to transport a drive with no OEM packaging, Walmart?! Seriously?! Is this drive even new? I was afraid to even plug this drive into my PC so I turned off Autoplay, inserted the drive and immediately received an error from Windows stating that the drive no longer existed. Next stop was deleting and reformatting the drive. After that, it seemed to work fine. I have ordered from Walmart may times before so I hope this was some weird fluke but this lack of Quality Control must be addressed internally at Walmart.
Although sold as USB 3.0 [high speed] it performs just like USB 2.0. Greatly disappointed. Money wasted instead of saving.
