My Turkish Angora has long silky hair, although I put the collar on him the fleas would not die. I used Adams Cat Flea and Tick spray on him, it killed the fleas. Maybe I need to use that or get a more powerful collar. He doesn't need or deserve to suffer.

No do not buy.
No! My two healthy cats got very skinny and starting peeing outside litter box a few weeks after wearing these colors. They also developed sensitive stomachs and I had to change their food. They still have not recovered.
