[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My neighbor loaned her Tri-Care Triple Action Wound Treatment to me when one of our horses got tangled in the wire fence. It seemed to soothe his leg wounds while keeping the flies off and within a couple days they were healing well. It has a pleasant menthol-like-liniment aroma which also seemed to reduce the swelling in his knees. I ordered some from Santa Cruz and now I'm using it on my allergic horse to keep him from scratching his itchy spots.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy application. Very effective analgesic and antibacterial product
I have used this product for many years. I love the combination of ingredients in it. It's thick enough to apply and have it at here no matter where an injury might occur. I've always found excellent results using it with my horses.
This is one of my favorite wound creams because it helps to diminish pain associated with the wound. Cuts and scrapes probably hurt and this just gives me a little extra peace when I apply it to my horses. One of them does not like the smell of this, but I use it on him anyway. After a wound starts to heal a little bit and is no longer raw, I usually switch to Corona ointment or something that is not quite as expensive.
I have used this product for years on my two horses and wow does it work. I love that it not only helps keep minor cuts and scrapes clean while healing them. A little of the product goes a long way. I have repurchased this product multiple times and have tried other products and nothing works as well. I don't plan to stop using it.
My vet recommended this and it works better than anything else I have used. My horse is allergic to bug bites and this is one of the few products that keeps everything under control.
This ointment is a good consistency and is thick enough to stay on minor wounds in all locations. The tube is a nice size and shape to fit well in my grooming box.
This seems comparable to neosporin, although it is nice to have the big tube of it. My only complaint is that dirt sticks to it, but if you just put a thin layer it's not too bad.
I've been using this stuff for years, especially in the summer. It's the perfect consistency to stay on wounds, and it stays on well for a good 24 hours.
About a week ago, my horse had a trailering issue, he reared up and cut his face on the trailer. He has a gash on his face where the initial cut had happened. Tri care was recommended and has been aiding in the healing process wonderfully. Would recommend for smaller gashes / wounds and any superficial scrapes / irritations!
