High efficiency cooktop run circles around the old cooktop we replaced

I've only had the cooktop for 3 days, but the first time I used it I noticed some light dots (as opposed to dark which is what they should all be). I also notice a circle. I used the cleaner that was recommended but it did not fix either problem. I filed a complaint with my salesman who submitted a request for someone to come check it out. I am waiting for a call and for someone to come.

I only have this product a few days. I NEED a manual to help me with the controls and to use the burners properly. Please send a copy. Thank you.

Our only issue with this appliance is that by design, the frame supports the smooth top to the counter. Which is correct to keep the glass from holding the weight and breaking. but this leaves a 1/16" gap between the counter and the glass which when an over spill happens, the liquid will run down the smooth top thru the gap and it's impossible to clean and will eventually cause odors from the spoilage. The appliance should be designed with an edge trim to fill this gap in between. See my pics for explanation.

I do love my new Cafe cooktop but the timer and sound features are not loud enough. Also I wish the printing on the cooktop was a little brighter. I can't register my cooktop because the model number is underneath and the contractor has already installed it and I can't get to the bottom.

I like this cooktop but not as much as I loved my old Profile cooktop. The triple burner on my old one, that went up to 12 inches was wonderful. I also don't like the Cafe controls in the front center. My old Profile cooktop had them on the right side which made it possible to cook closer to me instead of having to reach to the back to stir, etc. All of the lights indicating that the burners are on or the controls are locked are too dim. My old one had brighter lights. And the sound indicating that the controls are locked is too soft (and I'm not hard of hearing). I wanted to get my old cooktop fixed, but you stopped making the electronic component I needed. Since only the GE fit the opening in my counter, in I decided to get another GE. It's ok but not wonderful.

We love the fact that this cooktop has no knobs. Also love the two sync burners for a griddle. However, the surface is very delicate and after one week of use it has marks and discolorations. We have used the sample of cleaner that was included with the cooktop and it still has marks.

I would NOT recommend this stove. Seems very cheaply made. Hard to keep clean. For the money it is not worth it. I'm not sure the air fryer works. It took as ling to cook potatoes as it does regularly to bake them. It's still under warranty. I'm concerned after ready several other reviews also disappointed with this stove. The knobs are dangerous because they are so big and if bumped easily turn on.

Our cooktop settings change to off or high and we aren't sure we understand why. It will be sizzling or bubbling along nicely and I turn my back and it's on high or turned off. Happens consistently. The dealer told us to use the lock setting, but that's not what lock setting does. It's as if a drop of water or oil hits the control and changes it. We are not comfortable with this. Too touchy. Too many spoiled meals. Would not recommend this cooktop.
