Picked up the CeraVe AM facial moisturizer with SPF for my teenage son and it’s been a great find. Nice consistency, absorbency, and not oily at all (huge win for teens). It’s hydrating without being oily or greasy!! The pump actually works and doesn’t jam — parents know that matters 😄 Gets the job done.
As a guy who has not moisturized most of my life, i would never have gotten something like this. But two different members of my family have now been treated for melanoma. that really got me thinking about UV protection and how i really don't like the feel of sunscreen on my face. i found this and decided to give it a try. I've used it for a couple weeks and I like it. It doesn't feel greasy or heavy and one pump is the perfect amount. As a bonus, winter weather usually caused me to get the red, splotchy look and patches of flaky or itchiness, but that has been almost entirely eliminated now. My only nitpick is that if you don't rub it in thoroughly, it can leave faint white streaks that are much more visible under the fluorescent lights at work. But that is not enough to make me recommend this less.
In the mornings I put a pea-sized amount of product on my finger, dot it around then gently spread it over my clean face. Let it dry. It's not oily at all. Then I apply my foundation. Not only does my face feel wonderful, my make-up looks near flawless! My dermatologist recommended this product and I love it!
for the price and value - you can't beat it. it's nonscented and the bottle lasts me about a month or longer. (I use twice a day on my face and neck.) I have combo skin and it has been full proof before I put on my BB cream.
Item is good an d arrived on time but its not for my skin type. I had high hopes for it, cause Cerave is a good brand. Caused swelling and rash on my face. This happened to another moisturizer I used, and they both have the same ingredients.
I have used CeraVe AM Face Moisturizer with SPF for years. As far as I notice there is no scent, and I don't want one, so I gave it a four. Seems to work, easy to apply. Only three issues: - Why does face moisturizer come in such small bottles - this is the largest size (3oz) I have ever seen from any brand, primary reason I bought it. It's not like you are buying La Prairie face cream or some other high in skin care - keep the small bottles for travel, car, purse, whatever but it should also come in 8,16,32 and 64oz bottles with a pump for counter use. - It should come in various SPF sun strengths - 30 SPF is the max I saw. - - Why in the world is face moisturizer so expensive - just five active ingredients, don't need the margin to support expensive marketing and in store counters. Walmart should create a Great Value or Equate brand of their own in big bottles.
I didn't do enough research and bought this thinking it would be like a regular moisturizer with a little SPF. It is clearly a sunscreen lotion and it left a white cast on my medium dark skin. It also pills something crazy. Would not recommend for daily use
The moisturizer burns my eyes if I sweat while I have it on my face. i will not purchase it again, as summer is coming and working outside in my yard causes me to sweat. i have used other products that did not do so. i had hoped by using the name brand would be a better product.
I don't use sunscreen and I really should (especially with the skincare I'm currently using). I wanted to try and find something that wouldn't break the bank and boy do I regret this purchase. I am an uber oily person. So finding a sunscreen that isn't greasy is a huge problem. A couple of reviews said this one wasn't so I went with it and all I have to say is no. This leave's my face looking like I've just walked out of a sauna as soon as I put it on. I do not recommend if you want something non-greasy.
This sunscreen leaves a white cast and the doesn’t absorb very well. Most of it just comes off in flakes and looks like dead skin or dandruff (it is not). The white stuff gets literally everywhere all over your clothes, towels, and hair. Save your money or just buy regular face sunscreen.
