CeraVe Hydrating Cleansing Bar for Face and Body for Normal to Dry Skin, 4.5 oz

Cerave hydrating cleanser bar for normal to dry skin is the new bar soap for my home, two senior adults. daily use improved dry, flaking, and itching after 4 days, completely resolved after 2 weeks, have used it for 4 weeks. four other "bar soaps" failed to improve skin. Cerave bar leaves tub/shower cleaner than any other bar soap I have tried.

Since Unilever took over dove something has changed in the sensitive skin bar soap..I tried the CeraVe for the first time and so far I am pleased I have paid so much for a bar of soap but with allergies and eczema this is working out so far

This is the only soap that works on my extreme Eczema dryness. My dermatologist recommended Dove but that was too drying on my flakey itchy skin. Took a chance on this brand since it is recommended by the National Eczema Association, and I love it! Does not over dry my skin and has a very light powdery clean scent that doesn't really linger which might be nice for those sensitive to scents. Really cleans up body odder without a perfume. This is the only bar soap I can use and have reordered many many times already. Shipping sometimes comes in a box or a pouch. When it's shipped in the pouch the sop box gets bent and squished but the bar soap it still intact. This soap is in my permanent rotation.

Finally, all the good moisturizers from CeraVe in a bar that would normally be available only in a liquid body wash. It is gentle and hydrating on skin. This is a must-have for travel, since it reduces liquids, but now I can use it at home as well.

I have very sensitive skin with rosacea and have to be very discerning about products I use. For many years I've used a name brand foaming cleanser but recently started having an allergic-type reaction. I don't know if the cleanser caused it, perhaps the formula changed,but decided to try the CeraVe cleansing bar after checking the ingredients. After several months, I am satisfied with it; it has a pleasant scent and is easy to lather. If you have sensitive skin, you know how difficult it is to find just the right products for you. So far I am happy with this one.

I definitely would recommend this face bar over the one in the pump bottle. The one in the pump is wayyy more expensive. I feel like the one in the bar is a little more drying but still gets the job done. I’ve been using this bar for years now and my skin has been the clearest it’s been. It does a great job lathering up so no issues with that. Try this out next time if you’re thinking about it, I think it may be worth it.

The bar is dense, and lasts a very long time while marking creamy sudsy lather. I actually massage my hands for a minute to moisturizes. It is like a spa day used in the shower.

I was looking for a good bar soap to wash my face with. I recently bought the CeraVe soap and I am very pleased. It really cleans your face without drying it out. I have used more expensive brands in the past and I feel like this soap is a good value. I would highly recommend.

I the only reason I’m giving this a 3 stars is the price. The price has went up a lot for a bar of soap. Why should anyone pay $7 for a bar of soap. I guess because we need it, and they know that so they raise the prices. When I first started buying it 7 months ago it was $3 and something. It’s great non-scented. Soap and great for your skin.

this soap seemed to make my face more moisturizer which is why I bought it but it was also supposed to be fragrance free it has a strong perfume smell that's irritating to the nose and it burned my eyes even though I rinsed it off very throughly cant seem to find a face soap thats truly moisturizing and fragrance free for sensitive skin.
