CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser for Normal to Dry Skin, Daily Face Wash for Dryness, 12 fl oz

CeraVe hydrating skin cleanser is a game changer for me. I have intensely sensitive skin on my face. After a bad reaction last summer, I've struggled to get my skin barrier back to where it was before. I have found some helpful moisturizers (a barrier repair lotion has been especially helpful) and makeup, but this cleanser is the clincher in my skin protocol. My skin has become much less reactive including much less sun sensitive. This cleanser generally cleanses sunscreen and a tinted CC cream that I use instead of foundation. I do sometimes use a boost from some hypoallergenic makeup wipes for my long wearing eyeliner and some tinted lip products. I've actually been using this cleanser as a hand wash since Covid because the skin on my hands is so super sensitive. I had given it a try as a face wash back before my face was so super sensitive and I didn't continue using it because I could use some other products. Fortunately, I recently tried it again as a face wash and it has worked miracles for me. There is no discernible scent to this product.

This is an excellent product that I have been using for years. I finally found it at Walmart and it is selling at a better price point than where I have been buying it!! (another great reason to shop at Walmart!) This product is comforting to my skin as my face is sensitive and most products are too harsh. It is a great cleanser…I highly recommend this one…

I have Rosaeca and use a special cream for my face, but my dermatologist told me to use this to wash my face. I've been using it for about 2 years. I'd love it if Cera Ve would make this in the form of face cloths -- I don't like splashing water to wash my face, but until they do, I'll keep using this.

Great product, I highly recommend. Started using this after a reaction to Noxema after using it for 40 years. They changed the formula. This is my new product that hopefully will take me 40 more. It's very smooth and makes my skin feel clean and healthy.

My dermatologist recommended this to me almost 20 years ago when it first came out it's all I've ever used on my face. It's a gentle, good everyday cleaner. You need to be careful though this brand is putting out the dry to oily skin one in a very similar colored bottle.

okay so i get sucked into trying other cleansers and keep coming back. this is truly the best for my skin. i have sensative skin and super dry. i used the foaming hydrating cleanser on my eyes and the hydrating cleanser every where else. love this stuff doesnt strip my skin and make it feel like its cracking and i never break out from it. in a pinch or im moving fast i use yhe everyday body moisturizer on my face too. its not hydrating enough to do everyday but it works when im in a hurry. no breakouts.

I wasn't sure how I felt about this cleanser. I am a CeraVe fan and use several of their products. I also have mature skin (53), so I need something that will not strip my face. This is my 3rd time purchasing. While I wasn't sure how I feel about it, buying it for the 3rd time should be clear that I do, in fact, like this. It never strips my face, it removes my makeup - even waterproof mascara - and works with warm or cold water. So I really do know what I think of it - love it. A soft cleanser that does what it says and leaves your skin feeling normal and even hydrated.

This feels like I'm trying to wash my face with watered down moisturizer. Many other reviews warned me that it doesn't remove makeup very well, and that was true, it takes at least 2 washes to feel clean.

I found the cleanser to be very drying on my sensitive rosacea skin. Cleansing balms better A word to the delivery people: Please deliver to the correct address. The very large numbers are displayed on my mailbox quite clearly, I was astonished that they delivered to my neighbor instead !!!!
