Not a heavy chemical smell, not heavy on the skin, dries pretty quickly. The only product that I have tried, that has noticeable results. I do not have breakouts when using, it helps keep my face clear and I've always felt my skin was oily. A little bit goes a long way.

This is the best moisturizer for people who tend to get clogged pores. It has a silky texture, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. I have acne-prone skin, and this hasn't caused any irritation or breakouts. The mattifying effect is subtle but noticeable, especially throughout the day. It layers well under makeup and sunscreen too. Overall, a great everyday option if you want something gentle that still targets breakouts without drying your skin out.

I've tried a few matte moisturizer on the market in preparation for summer skincare. I have combination skin and live in dry climate, combined with tretinoin use my face can be dry but still produce shine. It gets worse in summer. My goal is to find a moisturizer that doesn't dry me out further but still controls the shine and I think I have achieved my goal with this amazing moisturizer. This particular moisturizer feels very moisturizing and gentle, does not irritate my skin, plays well with my daily 0.05% tretinoin cream and my twice daily 15% azelaic acid gel. It is fragrance free. It dries semi matte, not powdery matte but more of a natural matte which I love. My skin doesn't get tight after it dries, which is what bothered me with most other previous matte moisturizers I tried. It goes under my semi matte sunscreen beautifully without pilling. With the help of this moisturizer, my skin stays the same natural matte finish the whole day whereas my sunscreen was only able to maintain about 2 hours max of matte finish alone. I hope cetaphil never stops selling this amazing moisturizer, I already purchased a back up and a back up for my back up!

This moisturizer is gentle and moisturizing. I don't think it's hydrating enough to last 48 hours on my combination skin but there's no need for that anyway since I wash my face twice a day. My skin is sensitive and Cetaphil never irritates it.

I love this brand and it's the one that works for clear skin for my teenage girls. I like their lotions and face soap but think this specific product really works for keeping their skin from breaking out or being too dry. no bad side effects!

As someone who has oily but dry skin this is a game changer. It's cheap and lasts a while using it liberally on my face. I don't have try feeling skin and I'm not shiny.

Really has helped not only clear my acne but the redness too! Using the whole acne regimen the deems control moisturizer when out in the sun was a game changer. Using the moisturizer the acne serum in the morning and in the evening has helped tremendously. Breakouts are reducing and I believe will be at a near minimum recurrence (been using only 5 days and see a difference.

the texture of this moisturizer is so soft and light weight. it's moisturizing and mattifying. my favorite!

its for oily skin.....its really really good for irritated skin, but doesn't stay hydrating for long. when applied its great, but after awhile you end up with this thick layer of emollient- ish that stays on top of your skin, and feels drying. I guess that's the "MATTE " part, I don't like it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone older, probably ideal for teens.

I have bought this product before and liked it. I bought it with a Manufacturer Rebate this time and was excited, but it somehow seemed as if it had been tampered with. It had an overall plastic seal but not an internal seal. I am just getting disappointed frequently that skincare products are NOT sealing the items so they cannot be tampered with in transit or in store. It wastes products.
