Gentle on your skin...

We have been using this for years on dr's recommendation. It can be used on your whole body if you have very sensitive skin or you are prone to dry skin. It is ideal as a facial cleansing soap because it will not strip your facial skin off it's natural oil according to my Dr.

I thought I wouldn't like this Gentle cleanser because it wasn't the same label face and body sensitive skin gentle cleanser but it works the same as the other gentle cleanser.I recommend that you use if you were confused 🤔 like me.I very observative and skeptical about my skin

I use this product every time I wash my face...even when I take several showers in a day (I live/work in Florida so multiple showers are sometimes necessary). It took me awhile to get used to washing my face with this stuff because it doesn't lather like soap. Instead, it feels like you are putting lotion on your face. It rinses off easily and doesn't leave any residue. I used to use body wash on all of me when I showered and didn't realize that it was stripping too much of the natural oils from my face. (I found this out when I sprang for a facial at a local spa.) My face often itched and often felt like I had creepy crawlers walking across my face which would cause me to reach up and scratch it. It took two to three months of constantly using Cetaphil before the itching went away. I'm grateful that I found Cetaphil and highly recommend it to anyone who has skin issues or sensitivities. You just need to get used to the fact that it gets you clean even though it doesn't act like soap. To clean my face with Cetaphil I simply squirt some in the palm of my hand, apply it to my face and neck, and then rinse it off. TADA...that's it! My face feels smooth, clean and it doesn't itch any more.

I have used this face wash for at least fifteen years. It is non-drying (no tight feeling!), gentle, and is recommended by many dermatologists as a very neutral product for those with sensitive skin. I have a a friend with sensitive skin, and every product she has ever tried except for this one causes her face to become red and itchy.
