mild fragrance, moisturizing

BeachComberinSC June 28, 2014

I bought this product for my eczema. I tried to use it as an all-over body wash, but it ended up causing acne on my torso, arms, and face. So I just use it on my legs, where the eczema is located. The scent is very mild and does not linger. I've tried many over-the-counter items for my eczema, and this product has worked the best at keeping the eczema on my legs at bay.

Sensitive skin people, this is the best product I have ever used for the shower. Thank you Walmart for stocking it.

Excellent soap, my legs have stopped itching because this soap preserved the natural oils and is not harsh on the skin

Could Not Go Without It

Court667788 June 23, 2023

My hands are so important to me. I use them to cook, clean, play my instruments, and give highfives, among other things. However, I am prone to incredibly dry skin on my hands which can interfere with the enjoyment of these activities due to pain from freely moving my fingers around. During winter months especially, I get asked on a regular basis “why are your hands so red.” I get comments everyday, even once, someone asked if I dipped my hands in a grease trap. That was because every time I was washing my hands, I would get a reaction that would worsen my skin on my hands, because they’re so delicate I imagine. It didn’t matter what kind or how much lotion I would apply, or if it was oil. If I woke up with ‘semi normal’ hands, they would be red or even bleeding by the end of the day. I kept repeating this cycle for about a year. One day, my mom got me this soap and I began using it instead of typical soap. Yes, it can be a hassle bringing the soap like everywhere I may encounter a hand wash situation, which is why I often forgot to use it, but the mild inconvenience is worth the reward of having skin that is soft, doesn’t hurt constantly, and doesn’t get commented on regularly. I still have to apply lotion regularly, every night, but since I have this wash in my skincare regimen, I truly feel like I can do the things I love again without the annoyance of wearing gloves or having pain. I’m no longer avoiding such things that require hand washing like cooking, touching gross things, cleaning or questionable water. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and hands.

Another excellent product from Cetaphil.

Dare i say that this wash lives up to its name, and nourishes your skin while cleaning. It settles the skin so the itching almost goes away completely. Surprised to get this from a wash, rather than a cream or lotion! This is a thick rich wash that foams up nicely and provides a sense of relief as you wash with it. It honestly does what it says on the bottle, it hydrates and soothes while washing. I really like this body wash. It feels very silky and smooth when I use it, and it actually seemed to make a difference, helping to moisturize my dry skin.

Nice Product

Mary August 15, 2014

My son works for a logging company.. pushing wood into saws all day. So he has a tendency to get wood chips in his shirt. Which causes adverse skin effects, by mixing with his sweat and getting caught between his skin & his shirt. The friction of him moving around then causes chaffing. He tried this product and it has helped his irritated skin a lot.

Cetaphil Restoraderm Body Wash

Doreen December 12, 2016

The product is excellent. However, I ordered item based on the picture of the product and it wasn't what I received. Since the packaging may have changed you need to update it to "Eczema Calming Body Wash" from "Skin Restoring Body Wash".
