The sandal solid structure, arch support, and cushioning are spectacular for long walks, hikes, or just wearing all the time during warm weather. The wide straps are comfortable and not too constricting. Please add more colors for the wide straps next year.

Chacos have been my primary all-purpose warm weather shoes for the past 15 years. Aging has brought along some foot ailments and so it was time to switch to a softer sole; luckily, this model fit the bill! If you like standard Chacos but need a bit more cushion than the hard slab original provides, this is the one for you. The only drawback is that these probably won't last quite as long as the original model. After one full season, I can see more wear on the footbed than the standard model. I've had Chacos that I've resoled twice, but I don't think the footbed on this one will last that long.

Chacos are sort of a new discovery for me. These mega z clouds are awesome. Easy to wear, comfortable, versatile. And crazy good grip. I chose the z1. Great choice. Still plenty security.
nice looking, comfortable fit, good arch, rate 4/5. wife's chaco's develop cracks in the ball of the sole less than one yr after purchase. seeing Chaco will replace or repair. other than that, we like the brand/shoe

I had the lowdowns first but wanted something more rugged for hiking, camping, and fishing. The lowdowns straps moved too much for me when I was partaking in those activities. I seriously can't handle life without these on my feet. Beyond impressed. I'm looking to order some custom ones if there is ever a sale on them. Couldn't be more happier!!
I really dig the wider webbing and the simple minimal "Odds Black" pattern option. I typically head over to the men's section for sandals because the prints and colors offered are a little more earth toned and minimal for everyday wear compared to the bright and bold women's color and print offerings.
They are comfortable, durable, reliable, and look great (I got the black and grey patterned ones). I had the thinner straps before, and they didn't feel as secure as these do. The straps take a bit longer to dry after river rafting, but that is a sacrifice that I am okay with, given that they are more secure and thicker. I use them for hiking, camping, biking, rafting, swimming in lakes/rivers, every day for school/work, etc..... they are great for everything I need them for. These are also an improvement from my last pair because of the better strap and more comfortable base, I had outgrown them but gave to my mom since they are still in great shape. I will purchase from Chaco again because of their quality products, but I may never need to (unless my feet keep growing)!
