Been wearing Chacos for years, and never had a bad pair. Most comfortable shoes I own, and I wear them virtually year round, boating, swimming, hiking, daily. I've had a couple pair repaired rather than replaced, which can be like getting a brand new pair.
I had my last pair for about 5 years, and the strap just pulled out of the sole last week after I got stuck in some deep mud. They were the Rex Sandals with a slimmer sole than the new ones. Unfortunately they discontinued that line so I didn't bother trying to service them, but the new ones are definitely more heavy duty and have a more intense arch. Even with flat feet though, I love my new Z2s and I wear them everywhere.
I'm a woman with flat feet, and planning a trip Nov 2020 with lots of walking. I need a firm arch support, but otherwise non-restrictive shoes. I really was interested in one of the sneaker options for my trip (to keep my toes warm) but needed to make sure my feet liked the footbed. After learning how to adjust the straps, this Birkenstock/Tevas girl just became a HUGE Chacos fan! I normally live (and hike) in rafting sandals, so I'm excited for the adventures these sandals will take me on this year. Should have tried this brand sooner!!!
I got this for my husband as a Father's Day gift and he has not taken them off! He wears a size 9.5 and we got him a 9 and they fit perfect! Will be buying my dad some!
These Chacos were comfortable from day 1. The straps needed a little adjusting. I looked at the instructions online and made the necessary adjustments very easily. I wear them all weekend long and love them!
i bought these simply for the design/color. i am already a firm believer in chaco fit and comfort. chacos are my footwear when its above 50 degrees! LOVE my chacos!AJ
This was my 12th pair since 1997. As soon as it's warms up just a little bit I only wear Chacos. Some times I wear clothes too.
Same ol', same ol'...This is my fourth or fifth pair (I kinda forgot) of Chaco Classic Z/1 or Z/2s -- the quality, the fit, the service all still seem to be there. My only qualm is the color selection of late, not as appealing as in previous years, for men's styles anyhow. But I went with another pair of Z/2s nonetheless. Keep up the good work (just bring back some of the old colors)! J.M.
Big fan of the functionality of the sandal, however the strips are a bit long and drag when I walk. Not sure how to adjust so to make it that they do not drag. The arch support is UNREAL! I am super happy about that, but there is a small area on the side of the shoe that my foot will sometimes land on making it a bit uncomfortable when traversing during water hikes or heavily sandy areas.
In Pool- Hot Tub Repair biz so i live in these things 24/7 9-10 mo a yr. & luv them. Liked this style. Wearing Chaco since 2016 -only had issue w/ 1 pair & Rechaco replaced them so alls good
