I rarely wore open-toed shoes growing up (prickly underbrush, cool forests, etc.), but living in a much warmer climate now I had to expand my options. I've known Chacos from plenty of river rats and tree huggers, so figured these were the place to start. Nice wide straps and solid buckle holds the shoe in place very well. Definitely looking forward to trying more varieties now.
Couldn't be more happy with my new set of Chaco's! Their first outing was 30 miles on the San Juan River in Southeastern Utah. It was the only shoe I took. From days on the raft, to swimming, to hiking jagged cliffs looking for fossils, these shoes did it all! Certainly a five star rating.

The quality and comfort are amazing. So pleased to finally have my first pair of Chocos! The learning curve for adjusting the straps was quick thanks to the included instructions. The packaging was fantastic, such attention to detail and 100% recyclable. Walking and hiking season is just starting here in Phoenix and these guys are going to get a real workout. Love at first step.
They're great. Very light on the feet. No toe strap lets me keep my socks on if its cold or too buggy as well! I've got a bad left ankle, so in the past the regular chacos have caused some irritation, but not these! Highly Recommend
I have used Chaco's for decades working as a guide and on many adventures. the ZCloud are fantastic. I absolutely love the softer soul, yet they still provide great support.
These are super comfortable. I never expected to want to wear sandals so much. I have no idea what to do with the end of strap though. It flaps around.
tried a new sandal. For my older feet they were nat a good fit. Walking in them several times, the arch never felt correctly placed for my foot. I had never tried adjustable web straps before and they were not a good fit for me either. It's probably just me…
This is the first pair of Chacos that I've owned so I'm not used to the fit. I've had Tevas before and I like their cushioned straps a lot more. The soles of the Chacos are thick, and comfortable to wear (which I didn't like about my Tevas) but I don't like the feel of the straps. It is probably just me.
I was given the wrong information and bought these sandals as a gift. I called within 24 hours with the correct information trying to change my order to an upgraded pair costing $50 more. I was told I could not change my order although it had not been filled or shipped. When I received this order I did not open it but immediately returned it. I chose a more customer friendly company.
