These sandals work great for work and for play!!!!
The quality and comfort are amazing. So pleased to finally have my first pair of Chocos! The learning curve for adjusting the straps was quick thanks to the included instructions. The packaging was fantastic, such attention to detail and 100% recyclable. Walking and hiking season is just starting here in Phoenix and these guys are going to get a real workout. Love at first step.
They're great. Very light on the feet. No toe strap lets me keep my socks on if its cold or too buggy as well! I've got a bad left ankle, so in the past the regular chacos have caused some irritation, but not these! Highly Recommend
Great sandals, super comfy, even the straps are a brushed polyester so they are softer against the skin than a traditional nylon strap. Highly reccomend.
As always, Chacos are the best. After all these years, this is my first pair of Z/Cloud and they're my favorite to date. Think these are the sandals Jesus wore… the original JC Waterwalker. CHACO… MAKE A 13W!
if you are thinking about wearing a sandal this is one one to try. With no toe loop your you can wear it with or without socks. The wide thicker straps are easy on the feet. The Chaco grip soles have the best arch support of any shoe I have ever worn. The most unexpected befit is your feet stay dryer. I have suffered from toe nail fungus since I went through puberty. I tried every remedy that was sold and nothing worked. I am almost 68 years old and now because I wear Chaco's 80% of the time, my feet have repaired themselves. I use Emuid ointment an all natural antibiotic and with the Chaco's my feet don't sweat they have never looked or felt better. I highly recommend these to anyone.
This is my 5th pair of Chaco sandals. I gave these z-cloud sandals a 5 even though there are two problems with the straps. 1-The strap is way too long. It rubs the ground and collects whatever grime is on the surface that's walked on (public toilets included). Also the absurd length makes sound as it scrapes the ground. 2-This is a design issue with the strap. It would be more pleasing to the eye if the strap that is going into the buckle were placed underneath the part of the strap it is crossing so that it completes an over-under-over-under pattern. I cut about 4 inches off of the straps and placed the strap in the “under” position. Both problems are solved, but I would prefer if I could buy them without having to make alterations. It's possible that the reason for the loooong strap is to accommodate fatter feet. I'm tall and thin and my feet (size 13) might be thinner than most. I love the pattern on this pair! I believe it was named “black thatch” or something similar.
Love these sandals! Live up to their well deserved reputation. Super comfy for hiking and amphibious activities (I'm a sailor and a former river guide). They're become my daily walking and boating sandals. Fit true to size and easily adjustable.
I have a high arch and often times have difficulty getting footwear to fit correctly. It took a few minutes to adjust the straps but so far good. I only have a few miles on the sandals so not a long term review
This is the first pair of Chacos that I've owned so I'm not used to the fit. I've had Tevas before and I like their cushioned straps a lot more. The soles of the Chacos are thick, and comfortable to wear (which I didn't like about my Tevas) but I don't like the feel of the straps. It is probably just me.
