Challenge Insulated Bucket with Lid 3.5 Gallon, 50327

1. This "3.5 gallon" bucket holds about 2.25 gallons, with the insulation installed. Perhaps if you remove the insulation, it would hold 3.5. (It seems as if this is the standard method of rating these buckets. I have a "2 gallon" bucket that holds only 1.25 gallons with insulation installed). 2. The mount for the aerator was broken off and placed inside the bucket, as if whoever packed it knew it was broke and shipped it anyway. (I don't use an aerator, so the broken mount is not an issue). 3. The cover and "door" are made of plastic and will need to be handled with care when opening the door to get bait, especially when it's very cold. (I am normally the only one using my bucket, so once again, this should not be an issue as I will handle with care). Bottom line: In essence, I got what I wanted; a bigger bucket, holding nearly twice as much as my old bucket. If you use an aerator, make sure you check the mount before leaving the store. If others will be using your bucket, make sure they understand it must be handled with care when opening the top to get bait.
