a few times the instructions said something like press "here" but they didn't show where here was. I would just add some sort of visual prompt too show where "here" is.

The instructions were nearly straightforward. the physical part was spot on. when the wiring was installed correctly, the wall button did not flash. It was on steady. i was expecting it to flash, per the instructions. Everything worked, and safety was all okay. It forced me to take the time and energy to recheck the wiring and installation.

The BILD instructions failed early on when the instructions did not clearly state how the rails should be connected . There should be a top/bottom indicator on the rails. I had to remove the trolley, reinstall the Stop Bolt, and the bolt for the belt Pulley. VERY frustrating.

I did not expect such an easy installation! The interactive guide with the avility to zoom and flip images made it way too easy! My only small gripe is the rails and screw location do not allow for a 7ft garage to fully open only leaving about a 1-2in gap from our vehicles to the garage door. HOWEVER.. if you don't have a big SUV with a rack or a lifted pickup as we do, the customer will have more than enough room.

These step by step instructions made this installation really easy. I have a bad back and was able to do everything by myself except get the head unit up to the ceiling. you don't even have to be mechanically inclined or understand electronics or anything. it is super straightforward. you do need a drill and a few wrenches. I prefer using power tools to drive in the leg bolts, but a ratchet would work just fine.

the installation went as planned and the online tutorial was helpful once you got used to how to manipulate the images. everything is as stated on the box and on the website. make sure you do allow at least 4 hours for this project.

The door operation is nice and quiet. I like that it slows down before it closes or opens completely so it is not very loud. The install was not difficult but it was lengthy.

had to make a few trips to the hardware store, but aside from that, love the thoroughdescriptions/videos! very worth the while, lifetime warranty is worth the extra few bucks of a chain drive!
