This was well thought out, I could not ask for better instructions. I hope BUILT has the success I believe will be the new standard world wide. The Chamberlain garage door opener worked flawlessly, could not be happier, excellent product at a great price. Thank you!
A very helpful virtual installation guide made things a bit easy. There as some missing steps . but minor. I am overall satisfied with the purchase and install.
The "Bilt" app for Chamberlain C2212 T does not match the 'online' manual when installing the header bracket. "Bilt" says use horizontal.holes, "manual" says vertical holes (confirmed by Cust Srvc.
Make writing on your booklet included larger print. Make it more visible for people to understand that yiu have to have WiFi added before any installation is complete. I missed this and was trying everything to get setup done.
the my build kept telling me if I had a problem to go to the installation guide but I have no idea where the installation guide is there was no paperwork in the box.
The instructions were simple and straightforward. Plan on a solid day if it's your first time install.
I just purchase this Bluetooth garage door opener in May 2024 as an upgrade to my home and opportunity to upgrade the convenience in my life. But Just As the summer ends and I was excited about using the garage more the sensors have failed. They keep saying they are not aligned after I open the door so I have to get out of my car to force close the door from the wall controllers. This is very frustrating. Good news is the customer service lady I spoke with today was very pleasant, seemed knowledgeable and took care of my concern by sending me new sensors. I really pray that this works because I only upgraded the system for a better life. Not one with more worry or inconvenience
descent, but written or some pictures instructions would have made some steps easier and quicker. At least telling customer that instructions are only on line!
I've installed 3 of these openers that have been in service for coming up on two years. Two of them were very quiet when installed and have stayed quiet, however one of them has started to develop a loud "vaccum" noise to it, making it only marginally quieter than a standard AC chain drive. The biggest gripe I had was when I went to set limits on one of them. Attempting to move the opener, it would just click a few times and would throw a 1-5 motor control error code. I did some poking around and found out that the motor was not plugged into the circuit board from the factory, which is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. Meaning they aren't testing their openers when they leave the factory.
myQ app says my sensors are misaligned, even though both are lit. No holes to mount the chain spreader to. Just can't get the thing to work right. The video is pretty bad too.
