Camera was easy to setup with the app and grouped with my other chamberlain devices perfectly. Themagnet on the camera mounted perfectly to my shelf. Alerts are timely, image is clear and i feel really goo about watching the activity in my garage. I recommend this camers for sure.
I recently purchased this camera during a Labor Day sale. The setup was midly annoying as my phone (S25 Ultra) took a few tries to finally connect to the camera. But once it did, set up was easy. What I like most about the camera is the short time it takes for a notification to hit my phone. I can walk outside and as soon as the camera sees me or my car, my phone is already shoing me the notofication. My Google Nest cameras cannot do that all the time. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.
I recently purchased the MyQ Smart Indoor Camera and I couldn't be happier with it! The setup was incredibly easy and only took a few minutes. The picture quality is clear and crisp, making it easy to see details both during the day and at night. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can check in anytime with such great clarity. Definitely a reliable and user-friendly indoor camera—I highly recommend it!
Excellent for me to check on my garage because it's something that I made out of a shop to keep an eye on my things that I have in it and knowing who's drinking my beer out of my fridge lol
I really like this little powerhouse of a camera. I use it indoors to monitor my dogs when I'm away. It gives me a wide viewing area which is what I needed. Having the library of activity is excellent. It was very easy to connect to my wifi, but one star off for not having an on/off button. I don't want it running when we are home, I have to unplug it every time.
Setup is easy with the MyQ app. Once installed, It often cuts out while trying to view the camera. It does eventually settle down but it is annoying. It also has a Micro USB for power. Had I known I would not have purchased the camera. In today's world, it should have a USB-C connection.
Great price and works great with the MyQ ecosystem! For a budget system it works well. You can't pan/tilt but the clarity is good. One problem with ALL the 3 indoor cameras I have is they get “stuck” in black/white mode and you have to toggle the video or physically unplug and plug them n fr time to time to keep them working.
The myQ Smart Indoor Camera is a solid choice for basic indoor monitoring. It delivers decent video quality and works well for general home security. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The night vision could definitely be improved—images in low light are not as clear as expected. Another issue is the bright green and red indicator lights on the camera, which are very noticeable at night. Although some sources suggest you can toggle them off, there doesn't seem to be an actual setting for this, even after digging through the app for an hour. Hopefully, myQ can address these issues in a future software update or improve them in the next generation of the camera. Overall, it gets the job done, but there's room for improvement.
The camera was great but description said it came with a 10 Ft cable but it actually was a 6 Ft cable. This made it impossible to mount it high in the corner of the room. I called and they said they didn't have a 10 Ft cable to send me but are sending me 25 Ft cable. That is way too much. The young lady was very understanding but didn't have the inventory to make this right. If the cable was was the length that was in the discription it would have been 5stsr.
These are the worst cameras I've ever purchased. After absolutely loving my new Chamberlain wi-fi garage door openers (with cameras), I decided to add : of these for the house. HUGE MISTAKE!! I've had them for several months and they will not stay connected for more than a few hours / maybe a day at most. I've went through all the troubleshooting, added more extenders (even sat them right above the router - same result - THEY stay on for a while then just start blinking. Same pattern for months. They just blink blue to green constantly now. We don't even try. Waste of time but I can't seem to get help returning as I did not keep the boxes. HATE THEM
