Mas de lo que esperaba

Ing_Francisco April 20, 2026

Nice and Quiet

sms373 May 9, 2023

Just bought this to replace a machine I'm taking with when I sell the home. This is very well constructed compared to the other brand with Aladdin in the brand logo. Was very easy to assemble and install. This is very quiet for an AC motor machine. I definitely recommend this one. I'm very familiar with this industry and have worked on countless different openers and Chamberlain and LiftMaster are high up on my list. The “other guys” not so much.

Had this installed. Works well with my myQ app but cannot connect to the myQ hub I sued with old chamberlain motor. Sets up own connection

Awesome unit

Bubba Hiya December 26, 2022

I got this to replace an old Stanley garage door opener, well after 5 hrs ( lots of modifications to my garage ) it's in and it's awesome, I don't care that it doesn't work with my car I have a remote, nice to see if door is open or not and who may have left it open, very quiet and installation was a breeze, very happy with my purchase

Chamberlain B2405 garage door opener

Al eh September 24, 2025

Oral instructions are good and easy to follow. My only recommendation would be that once the installation is complete and before starting door open/close procedures, make sure that the manual opener mechanism is engaged with the belt trolley.

Unit works well everything else is junk.

Ben1 February 10, 2023

I bought this last night to replace my aging unit that was rather difficult to work with programing wise. I decided to replace the motor, sensors, keypad, and push buttons. installation took 45 minutes or so and was rather easy. The problems started after what I thought the hard part was over. Spent over 7 hours messing with the travel adjustment "step saver" system. Turns out after that the reversing sensor they sent me are bad. Awesome. So I finally get through that and now one of the remotes is DOA as well. I didn't expect it to hang it's self but the instructions manual is a farse.

MyQ options is horrible with this unit

Dee G February 2, 2026

Purchase new garage door unit, motor works fine, however the "MyQ" feature is horrible. It keeps going offline and not working. Home internet connection is working fine, new router with all other wifi products, even with wifi extender the unit keeps going offline whenever it feels like it and with constant power restart and re-establishing wifi. Ridiculous how it keeps going offline every few hours. App is no help either because I cannot see the diagnostic option on my iPhone like my cousin can on his Samsung. We has the save MyQ version but he can see more options than I can. I deleted the app and reinstalled and only thing it lets me do is change if/when I want to open the garage door with a single button press or hold button option. When its actually online that it! So frustrated with this unit and it's not even 2yrs old!

Idler Belt Pulley broke 3 weeks after installation

Metallastlonger August 31, 2022

Bought this opener to go with the new garage doors. The opener was professionally installed by the company installing the new doors. Three weeks later the garage door would not close. The belt was off track and wedged between the pulley and the bar. The idler belt pulley is a very thin piece of plastic not meant for lifting anything as heavy as a garage door. The use of very thin plastic parts makes this product unreliable. Chamberlain should discontinue any product that uses these defective pulleys. The belt drive was quiet compared to the old chain drive opener.

Poor Product

1950 Bob October 29, 2023

I replaced my 20 plus year chain garage door opener (of which I had fantastic performance over the years, and it was not a chamberlain unit) to a belt driven Chamberlain unit. I purchased mainly to having a newborn grandchild and when he came to stay with us we needed to change to a quiet opener for his comfort at sleep time. Two years old and it started acting erratically and reversed (at times) and not going down all the way.then reversed to open ll the way.. Called help line and they told me should be sensors and I replaced. Still problems now they say its logic board. you would think that this should be covered under the warranty after only TWO years old and was told it is not. Really????? This board is very expensive and have heard Chamberlain has issues with some of these boards. They should be covered, Now I am stuck with waiting to see if door closes all the time. At time I need to hit close button several times before if does close. Its pretty costly to buy another logic board especially since it is not so old.Pretty sad fro sych a well know company. Let see if they do publish this comment.
